Performances on stage:
In 2010 Jaume Jové, after years of working in different theatre companies, decided to start a solo project called JAM, based on clown and street theatre.
- Best show with the *Mêtre at the Poeti Invasion Festival in Sibiu (Romania), year 2019.
- Finalist with the show El Mêtre at the Gauklerfest festival in Koblenz (Germany).
- Best show with *Humortal at the Ansan Street Festival in Korea.
- Pomo de Oro, first prize of the Jury with the show *Minute at the Senseportes street theatre festival.
- Best Actor at the New York Short Film Festival, with the short film Pantomima, in the role of Tico.
- Best Actor at the Salzburg Short Film Festival, with the short film Pantomima, playing the role of Tico.
L’ACTITUD (The attitude)
Difficulties are always there. And if they are not there, they appear out of nowhere. The attitude with which we face them is key. And who better than a clown to show us that?
Raising the shutter every day is not easy. Setbacks come one after the other. With humour, laughter and a lot of wit, JAM will tell us a wonderful story of overcoming where nothing is as it seems.
Doors that don’t open when you need them to, playful switches that fail to light up the darkness, rain that isn’t rain, drawings that come to life, walking against the wind that won’t let you get ahead, clock hands that never move the way you want them to, stacked chairs that fall like a house of cards…
